NCLB
(No Child Left Behind)

NCLB stands for No Child Left Behind.  It provides funding, some Federal, Local, and District, to help meet the needs of Tusculum students and teachers.  It drives the instruction in all schools through programing and staffing decisions.

NCLB funding at Tusculum provides salaries for 3 certified positions for the school year. They include the NCLB Program Specialist (Catherine Rollins), the NCLB Family Engagement Specialist (Patricia Price) as well as an Instructional Specialist, Billi Hartsfield.

The NCLB Program provides funding for professional training workshops for teachers as well as equipment and materials for classrooms. It also provides funding for after school tutoring. Tutoring curriculum is determined by analyzing gaps documented on standard tests.

Parent and community feedback is very important in implementing the NCLB Program at Tusculum.
